Our Story

WE STARTED FROM ETSY IN 2011

One day I and my friend were sitting at a bar in London. It had been a while since we had seen each other so I was hoping that we would catch up on each other’s lives but she talked non-stop about some miraculous store Etsy where she would like to start selling her items. She kept talking and I kept nodding my head keeping a close eye on my watch so that we leave on time to catch the metro. At that time it seemed that I was not focused on what she was saying but I was mistaken. When I came back to Lithuania, the first thing I did was turn on my computer and search for Etsy. What I saw on the computer screen exceeded all my expectations. I was instantly obsessed with the thought of joining the online marketplace. I started browsing Etsy for several hours a day. I was totally convinced that I will make it. I was 100 percent sure. When my husband learned about my plans, he gave me a reserved smile. He is still smiling but now his smile is much more enthusiastic because, in a few months, he got involved in the store’s trading process on a full-time basis.

Now our shop in Etsy have more that 8000 sold items and over 2000 happy customers reviews.

I’ve always been fascinated with vintage things because they seem to have a soul. If music physically makes air particles move, then an old item has a similar effect on your imagination. If the imagination touches the deepest parts of your soul, it means you actually need this item. There is a category of people who don’t need vintage items because they don’t know what to do with them. They only see a point in owning new and super-trendy stuff. I also had this craze during my teenage years but now I only appreciate things that are durable and of good quality and even a bit shabby, mixed with flavors of time and sentiments.

In a few years, Etsy changed my opinion about people from other countries of the world. I had to redefine my understanding of customer service. Ironically, recently it has been increasingly difficult for me to go to a shopping center and buy a totally new item. They don’t make sense to me. I don’t feel them. They cannot make my imagination travel to different places and times. I believe that we are truly free when we are able to make our considerations and choices independently. This is what I would like to wish us all when making our life decisions, or when you are about to open your small online store with several shelves.
Now it’s a new start - our own website!
