Description
This book includes well known Russian fables by Ivan Krylov. Some of the fables are fun illustrated, 174 pages. Krylov's fables book is perfect addition to your vintage books collection or could be a gift for Russian literature admirer!

Published in 1967, in Moscow.

Ivan Andreyevich Krylov is Russia's best known fabulist and the most epigrammatic of all Russian authors. While many of his earlier fables were based on Aesop's and La Fontaine's, later fables were original work, often with a satirical bent. By the time of Krylov's death, 77,000 copies of his fables had been sold in Russia, and his unique brand of wisdom and humor has remained popular ever since.
